Anyone know a good place to go for Brunch or Saturday and/or Sunday morning? I've been to Eggspecations, Rio Grande and Anita's... but other than that can't seem to find anywhere in the Northern Virginia area, preferably around Fairfax or Reston. Suggestions? |

| Affordable, elegant (to a kid) restaurant? |
[Dec. 6th, 2009|07:56 pm] |
| [ | mood |
| | hopeful | ] | Hope someone can help me out - I moved down to Hampton Roads about 8 years back, but I still have family in Alexandria/Springfield. A couple days after Christmas, I'm thinking of taking my 11-year-old niece to dinner (after a matinee show)... I'm just not sure where! I'm trying to think of somewhere that has food that's good but not too adventurous, isn't too expensive, but is elegant enough to seem special and grown-up to an 11-yr-old.
Unfortunately, I've been gone waaaay too long to remember anything helpful! I've been browsing online reviews, but they tend to rate on food or price, not whether the place would look impressive to a kid. :-) Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you! |
